Introduction

The Bright Pattern Contact Center Service Provider Guide describes configuration and management of Bright Pattern Contact Center-based solutions at the service-provider level. In Multi-tenant mode, service-provider level configuration and management refers to the provisioning of resources that are managed by the service provider and can be either be shared by multiple tenants or allocated for individual tenants. Such resources include the elements of the computer network (e.g., hosts and database management systems, external telephony interfaces (trunks) and access numbers, as well as the software components of the Bright Pattern Contact Center solution itself). In other words, the Bright Pattern Contact Center Service Provider Guide defines the infrastructure that must be in place before contact center resources of specific tenants can be configured. The configuration of tenant-specific contact center resources is discussed in the Bright Pattern Contact Center Contact Center Administrator Guide.

As suggested above, from the system standpoint, an enterprise installation can be considered a multi-tenant installation that has only one tenant configured in it. Thus, unless specifically noted otherwise for a particular entity, the description of all system resources in this guide is equally applicable to Multi-tenant and Enterprise modes.

This guide assumes that your Bright Pattern Contact Center solution has been properly installed and is ready to be configured at the service-provider level. For installation instructions, see the Bright Pattern Contact Center Deployment Guide.

Please be aware that all the changes and actions described in this guide will be applied in run-time, immediately after save.
