== Audience ==
This guide is intended for the IT personnel responsible for the data infrastructure of Bright Pattern Contact Center-based contact centers. Readers of this guide are expected to have expertise in web application development as well as a solid understanding of contact center operations and resources that are involved in such operations.

== Prerequisites ==
To use this API, users must be granted the [[Contact-center-administrator-guide/Privileges#Allow_recording_export_API_access |  Allow recording export API access]] privilege.

== Authentication ==
The [https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6749#section-4.4 OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Grant] (RFC 6749, Section 4.4) is used to authenticate clients of this API. The user name is checked against the list of users configured for the provider and for having an appropriate role/privilege to add/delete/import tenants.
