How to Schedule an Event
You can use the calendar to schedule meetings and follow-up activities.
Note that you can also schedule follow-up activities in the context of your present customer interactions directly from the Communication Panel. For more information, see How to Schedule a Follow-up Activity.

- Click anywhere on the calendar, or press the Create Event button.
- Select Meeting or Follow-up.
- In the Title field, name your event. This name will be displayed on the calendar.
- Select the relevant calendar.
- Confirm the event details. The date and time of the event will correspond to the position and duration of the time slot selected in the calendar grid. You can adjust this time manually in the Start and End fields. Then, adjust the time zone if necessary.
- Optional meeting settings:
- If this meeting is an all day event, enable the All day event checkbox to override the start and end time fields.
- If this is a recurring meeting, click on Does not repeat and choose the desired cadence from the drop-down menu.
- Use the Reminder field to specify how far in advance you would like to be reminded about the event.
- Optional: In the Notes field, add a descriptive summary of the event.
- If your event is a scheduled call to a known contact, press Add Contact to attach their contact information to the event. You have two options for looking up the contact:
- Click Search for Contacts to bring up a popup window listing external contacts. Either scroll through the list or enter a name, phone number, or email address into the search field. Once located, select the contact in question, then press Add Contact.
- Click Add Contacts Manually to bring up a popup window with an Add Contacts form. Enter their name, phone number, and email address. Optionally, click Create Contact to create a new contact record for this person. Then, press Add.
- Optional: Repeat step 9 as desired to add additional contacts.
- Click the Create button at the bottom of the panel. The new event will appear in the calendar highlighted in a blue color.
