Applications for Internal SSO

Bright Pattern Contact Center can act as a single sign-on (SSO) identity provider for other applications. When you register an application here, that application can let its users sign in with their Bright Pattern Contact Center credentials through the standard OpenID Connect flow, so they do not need a separate account.

This page lists the applications registered for internal SSO and lets you add, review, edit, and delete their registrations.

SSO Client Applications

Each registered application is shown with its Name, Client ID, and Callback URLs. Use the actions menu () at the end of a row to edit or delete an application.

Adding an application

Click Add Application to open the Add Application dialog.

Adding an SSO application

Provide the following, then click Add:

Name

A name that identifies the application. This is required and can be changed later.

Callback URLs

One or more redirect URIs to which Bright Pattern Contact Center returns the user after authentication. At least one URL is required; click Add Callback URL to add more.

A callback URL must exactly match the redirect URI the application uses, including its scheme (for example, https) and full path.

Reviewing application details

When you add an application, the Review Application Details dialog appears. It shows the Name and Callback URLs you entered, together with the credentials that Bright Pattern Contact Center generated for the application.

Reviewing SSO application details

Client ID

A generated identifier (26 alphanumeric characters) for the application. It cannot be changed and is used with the Client Secret to identify the application in the SSO flow. Use the copy button to copy it.

Client Secret

A generated secret that the application uses, together with its Client ID, to authenticate.

The Client Secret is shown only once, at creation time. Copy it and store it securely before closing the dialog. It cannot be viewed again afterward, either in the table or when editing the application.

Editing and deleting an application

Use the actions menu () on an application's row to edit or delete it. You can change the Name and Callback URLs of an existing application; the Client ID cannot be changed, and the Client Secret cannot be viewed again after creation.

When you delete an SSO application, its access to internal SSO is terminated and all of its active sessions are invalidated. You are asked to confirm before the application is deleted.
