Version 5.2.10

Bright Pattern Contact Center version 5.2.10 is a minor release with the following new feature and bug fixes.

Request Callback for Outbound Voice Services

Outbound Voice service functionality allows Request Callback for Preview mode; this makes it possible for an agent to be reserved for a requested callback without indication to the agent.

Defects

The following defects have been fixed in this version of Bright Pattern Contact Center. If you need to speak to Bright Pattern Support about any of these fixes, please use the provided reference numbers.

16452 Custom reporting field values from activity forms do not save to dispositioned emails.
16472 The Find Agent block in the Scenario Builder application does not detect in-band DTMF if set to the “Virtual Queue” option only.
16698 Japan is added to the selectable options for the Geographic (State/Province) type of Do Not Call Lists.
16757 There is a count discrepancy between similar fields in the “call_detail” table, “agent_performance” table, and “service_in_time_counters” table.
16773 A “reasoncode” option is missing from the Loxysoft integration configuration.
16890 Access to the Contact Center Administrator application is prevented when login is attempted; a

"Lock wait timeout exceeded" exception occurs.

16914 Email polling stops working
16994 After being invoked, the User Management API’s “Update User” does not prompt Agent Desktop users to “Change expired password”.


Upgrade Notes

Live Upgrade

Upgrade without downtime is supported from versions 5.2.9 only. To ensure uninterrupted operations during the upgrade, follow the upgrade procedure described in the Bright Pattern Contact Center Deployment Guide, section Upgrades.

Database Changes

There were no historical database changes since release 5.2.9.

There were no configuration database changes since release 5.2.9.

You still must run the dbUpdate.sh scripts to ensure the database schemas are up to date. If you are upgrading from 5.2.9 the scripts will take only a few seconds to complete.

Offline Upgrades

Direct (one-step offline) upgrades are supported from versions 5.0.0 and any subsequent officially released product versions. For upgrades from versions 3.x please contact Customer Support.

If you are upgrading from any version prior to version 5.2.9 be sure to read the What’s New documents and Release Notes for all versions that will have been skipped, as they may contain other important instructions and considerations.
